I am from Barbados and did my Discipleship Training School in Tyler, Texas in 1998. Joining YWAM was one of the best decisions I ever made – it has literally changed my life. I serve on YWAM’s Caribbean Eldership Team and as Assistant Dean in YWAM’s University of the Nations, College of Arts and Sports. I have an adventurous nature, am always ready for a new challenge and have a passion for the arts. I love working with artists, training and mentoring them to be cultural artistic ambassadors for Christ.

We are from Germany, Venezuela, Spain, France, Curacao and mostly from heaven. We speak and sing in a bunch of languages and our dream is that praise and worship will arise from the Caribbean 24/7, because Jesus is worthy!
We are pioneering prayer and worship initiatives in and from all Caribbean nations and we are leading the Discipleship Training School here in YWAM Barbados.
As an international family we love the different flavors and cultures that make up the Caribbean and believe that God wants to use them to show His glory from the islands to the nations! Volker & Naraleska, Samuel Hope, Life, Isaiah, Elizabeth.

I was born and raised in Uruguay on a diary farm in the middle of no-where. When I was 18 my family moved to Germany, where amongst other stuff that happened, I did my nursing degree. In 2007 I completed my DTS in Germany and since then have been in and out working with different YWAM projects and as a nurse in between. Through this journey I discovered that I am most satisfied when I can spend time in the prayer room and hang out with Jesus. So yes, I am super excited about prayer rooms. Other than that I love beautiful places, nature, coffee and hanging out with family and/or friends to drink “mate” (a Uruguayan traditional tea).

Jack and Linda are from Barbados. Jack did his DTS & BCC training at YWAM Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in 2013 and Linda did her DTS at YWAM Orlando in 2016. They both joined staff here at YWAM Barbados in January 2017 and got married later that year on December 17th. Jack has been involved in different areas around the base such as maintenance, grounds and teams, Linda is also involved in such areas including hospitality. They both have a passion for SURFING and want to use it as a tool for salvation by holding annual surf camps, drawing young people from all over the world to encounter Jesus and grow in revelation to who He is. They love to take and train people in surfing and desire to see a fruitful ministry come out of it.
Born in the beautiful Island of Barbados. I have four sisters, two brothers, two nephews and two nieces. In 2006 I completed YWAM Discipleship Training school in Barbados and ten years later completed an Impact World Intensive Training in Kansas City. My heart’s desire is to see the Nations transformed through the power of Jesus Christ. Hence I am humbled to be chosen by God to partner with Him in reconciling men to Himself. I enjoy good laughter, hearing about the miraculous works of God, photography, writing, reading, hiking, getting to know people, engaging and encouraging people.
