OUR BASE DIRECTORS

Rob Christine 1 1

Rob & Christine Lucerne

Australia / Austria
The Lucernes come to us from Marine Reach Global (the headquarters for M/V Pacific Hope & S/Y Next Wave). The couple arrived on the island in September, and after safely quarantining, they’ve immersed themselves into the YWAM Barbados family! Rob grew up in Australia and Christine in Austria. They both began their YWAM journey 40 years ago when Rob did his school of Evangelism in Germany and Christine her Discipleship Training School in Austria. Christine loves to “train, teach English and the Bible, and play classical music,” and Rob loves “being creative, worshipping, and working within teams.” They have 3 boys and 4 lovely grandchildren. Both love listening and following God’s direction…and that’s what led them to embark on this new adventure with us in Barbados. we’re delighted to have the Lucerne’s here and can’t wait to see what God has in store for our base through their leadership!
