DTS

"To know God and to make Him known" is the heart of DTS as you will be receiving hardcore discipleship that is real, radical and relational. Five intense months will change your life and change your world forever as your relationship with Jesus grows deeply, challenging your faith as your character and gifts are developed.

You will be meeting new people and making friends from other nations and cultures as you learn together in a community that prepares you to go and "make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19).

This is also the gateway school that empowers you to join YWAM world wide!

DTS starts with 3 months of listening and learning to the teachings from powerful international speakers.


DTS curriculum includes...

    * God’s Family – His Children & Church
    * God’s World – His Call & Commission
    * YWAM – a response to God, knowing God and making Him known

    * Identity & Destiny in Christ
    * Hearing and Identifying the voice of God
    * Worship: the intimacy, essence, identity, and creativity in worship
    * Relationships
    * How to study the Bible: Inductive Method
    * Missional Living: How Jesus engages our Culture
    * Biblical Worldview
    * Spiritual Warfare & Intercession

After 3 months of lecture phase, you will be launched off to 2 months of outreach to the NATIONS, applying what you have learned. You will be challenged to share what Jesus has done in your life as there will be many opportunities to see the transforming power of God work through you, as you meet the lost and hurting people of this world.

Additional Information

Admission Requirement
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a teachable attitude and have a love for God and a passion to share God’s love with others.

Accreditation & Credits
This course is accredited with the University of the Nations (U of N) and upon successfully completing the DTS lecture (IDS701) and field assignment (IDS702) you will receive twenty (20) credits. These credits may be applied to a degree program with University of the Nations or transferred with certain colleges and universities.
 

Our school also hold accreditation from Caribbean Evangelical Theological Association (CETA) and Barbados Accreditation Council (BAC).

Course length
Our DTS will usually have 12 weeks of lecture phase and 8 weeks of field assignment: in total of 20 weeks all together.

Tuition 
We have 3 different categories for those of different nationals, based on per capita income for that nation: Category A for nations with strong economies; Category B for emerging or developing nations; and Category C for those from countries with weak economies. You can contact us and let us know what nation you are from and we will be more than happy to let you know the tuition amount.

Discipling Community
DTS students will not only learn while in the classroom but also beyond it. You will have the opportunity to learn from those of other cultures and many different nations within a rich and healthy Christian community. We regularly pray and worship together, but we also take time to eat together commonly at potlucks and beach barbeques. Each student also serves the community through ten hours a week of essential campus work (Grounds keeping, maintenance, kitchen, hospitality, office support, etc.).
